Defines itself by the thing people fear about the category

Why it converts
The proposition is not better coffee, it is coffee without the part people dread: “smooth, steady energy without the jitters or the afternoon crash,” at roughly half the caffeine of a regular cup. A heading reading “Focus And Energy Without The Jitters” repeats it, so the product is positioned against an experience the reader has had rather than against a rival brand. The gifts sit underneath with their condition stated in the same breath, “Free gifts included with subscription only | While supplies last.”
What to steal
Name the downside your category is famous for and build the offer on removing it. Everyone selling coffee claims taste and energy; almost nobody addresses the 3pm crash the buyer is actually weighing, and defining yourself against a felt experience is both more specific than a competitor comparison and impossible to dispute. Keep the honesty of the fine print while you are at it: a condition printed beside the gift it governs costs a little conversion and buys a customer who is not surprised in thirty days.
