The villain is a process, not a rival. “The Hidden Crisis in Your Pet’s Bowl (It’s Not What You Think)” indicts high-heat kibble manufacturing across five named failure modes, from “Nutrient Loss Through Heat” to “Biological Misfit,” and no competing brand is named anywhere on the page. Then the section most pages skip entirely: “Every Day You Wait, Your Pet’s Health Deteriorates Further,” with “The problem doesn’t pause. It progresses.” over the three consequences it names — “Digestive efficiency continues declining,” “Inflammation spreads throughout the body,” and “That vibrant, energetic companion you remember fades further into memory” — closing on “The longer you wait, the harder it becomes to reverse.” In the capture the product’s own section starts about a third of the way down and a single price sits at roughly two thirds.
What to steal
Urgency on most pages is a countdown, and readers know a countdown is arbitrary. This one puts the urgency inside the problem instead, so the clock it runs on is the condition it spent the previous section describing rather than a deadline it invented. It is also the most dangerous section on the page, one sentence away from frightening someone about their pet. What keeps it the right side of that line is that every consequence it names was already argued upstream, and it closes on the action rather than the fear.
