Unbounce Reviews (2026): What Users on Trustpilot and Capterra Say, What It Costs, and Who It Fits

Unbounce reviews read on 22 Oct 2026: Capterra 4.5/5 (257 reviews), Trustpilot 1.9/5 (180). Dated quotes, current pricing, and when to pick Unbounce or Landra.

A lineup of landing page builder option cards with one lifted and outlined, standing for picking one tool from the field

Unbounce reviews split hard by site. When I checked on 22 Oct 2026, Capterra showed Unbounce at 4.5 out of 5 from 257 reviews. Trustpilot showed 1.9 out of 5 from 180 reviews.

Both numbers are real. They come from different people, on different sites, over many years of the product. So I read the reviews themselves, pulled dated quotes from both sides, and checked the current prices on Unbounce's pricing page the same day.

I ran paid ads for my own DTC brand for five years, and I build Landra, which competes with Unbounce on one job: presell pages for paid social. I say where that matters below. Everything else here is what reviewers wrote and what Unbounce publishes.

What do Unbounce reviews say in 2026?

Reviewers mostly use Unbounce for lead-gen landing pages, often at agencies. They like the templates and the split testing. They complain about mobile layout work, analytics that did not match exports, and billing. Here is what each review site showed on 22 Oct 2026.

Review siteScore shownReviewsWhat to know (22 Oct 2026)
Capterra4.5 / 5257Ease of use 4.5, customer service 4.4. Sorted by "Most Helpful" by default, with reviews going back to 2017
Trustpilot1.9 / 5180Only 3 reviews from the last 12 months. The page notes Unbounce has not invited customers to review recently
G2Not shownn/aG2's review page did not load when we checked, so we leave its score out rather than repeat an old number

Don't average these. They are different scoring systems, and Trustpilot's TrustScore is weighted, so you can't rebuild it from the star shares. Trustpilot did show 56% five-star and 15% one-star reviews over its lifetime, so even there the picture is mixed, not uniformly bad.

The bigger point is age. Most of these reviews were written about older versions of Unbounce. They tell you what to check in a trial, not what the product does today.

What do reviewers like about Unbounce?

Three things come up on both sites: building pages fast once you learn the grid, templates, and running several pages and split tests for clients.

On building speed, a Trustpilot reviewer named Max wrote on 25 Jan 2026 (unprompted review): "We set our landing pages up and once we understood how the grids worked, we built the pages quite quickly."

On templates, Rory Hock wrote on Trustpilot on 17 Dec 2024 (invited review): "The templates are so easy to use and the pages come out looking amazing".

On agency lead-gen, Laura D. wrote on Capterra on 24 Apr 2025 (4/5, incentivized review): "Overall, Unbounce is the primary landing page tool our agency uses to create landing pages for lead generation. We use it for pledges, petitions, and downloadable offers."

On testing, Josh L. wrote on Capterra on 8 Apr 2024 (4/5, incentivized review): "Unbounce is fantastic for getting multiple landing pages set up all at once. You can run multiple split tests to determine which landing pages perform best." To be fair to the whole review, he also says he later chose Swipe Pages for performance and price.

Support gets both kinds of review. Brigen Ujkaj wrote on Trustpilot on 15 Apr 2024: "The guys took care of my issue within the day and they're quite reliable as well." Sean Turntine wrote on 18 Feb 2025: "I have had an open support ticket waiting to be answered for two days (since Sunday)."

What do reviewers complain about?

Three complaints are worth checking yourself before you commit: mobile layouts, analytics numbers, and billing. Each one below is one person's experience. I did not reproduce any of them.

Mobile layouts. Morgan B. wrote on Capterra on 3 May 2024 (5/5, incentivized review): "The relationship between desktop and mobile pages can take some time to get used to." The same review says: "Once you have a template built, it's very easy to maintain." An older review from Azeem T. (13 May 2022) says: "I think mobile compatibility is where we struggled the most." Unbounce now lists a hybrid builder on every plan, so treat this as something to test, not a known fault.

Analytics that don't match exports. Laura D., the agency reviewer above, wrote: "For example, it will tell you how many "leads" were generated from a campaign, but if you export the results, they do not always match the dashboard analytics." If your reporting depends on lead counts, run a small test and match it against your CRM.

Billing and price changes. Adam Kendrick wrote on Trustpilot on 4 Apr 2026: "They keep billing me even though I have cancelled." Dennis S. wrote on Capterra on 29 Jul 2025 (1/5): "While Unbounce had been a reliable tool for our marketing efforts over the years, recent changes to their pricing strategy have been deeply disappointing." Before you subscribe, confirm the billing period, the visitor limit, how overages are charged, and when a cancellation takes effect.

How much does Unbounce cost?

Unbounce has four self-serve plans. Each one has a monthly visitor limit, and each step up adds a feature the plan below doesn't have. This is what unbounce.com/pricing showed on 22 Oct 2026.

Unbounce pricing page on yearly billing showing Starter at $22 a month, Build at $74, Experiment at $112 and Optimize at $187, with a row of features every plan includes: unlimited conversions, unlimited subdomains, 100+ templates, free hosting and customer support
Unbounce's pricing page on yearly billing, captured 15 Oct 2026. The prices were the same when we checked again on 22 Oct 2026.
PlanMonthlyBilled annually (per month)What you get
Starter$29$225 pages, 500 visitors, 1 user, 1 domain, AI copywriting, lead-gen forms
Build$99$74Unlimited pages, 20k visitors, custom scripts and code, 1,000+ integrations
Experiment$149$11230k visitors, 3 users, 2 domains, unlimited A/B testing, dynamic text replacement
Optimize$249$18750k visitors, 5 users, 3 domains, AI traffic routing, scheduling, advanced triggers

Every plan lists unlimited conversions and subdomains. Unbounce lists a 14-day trial with no credit card. Its FAQ says the trial has limits, including one user, no custom domain and a traffic cap. Going over your visitor limit is charged based on the extra traffic, but the page did not show a rate, so check it with Unbounce.

If you have seen $99 quoted as the Unbounce entry price, that is Build. Today you can start on Starter at $29, but you need Experiment for A/B testing.

Is Unbounce good for ecommerce and DTC brands?

It depends on the page. Unbounce is built for pages that end in a form or a single button: a demo request, a lead magnet, a sign-up. Most of the agency reviews quoted above describe exactly that work. Pages like that sit well off your store, and Unbounce's integrations push the lead into your CRM or email tool.

DTC brands on paid social often need a different page. A cold visitor from a Meta or TikTok ad does not know your brand yet. So many brands send that click to an advertorial or a listicle first. That page reads like an article, educates and builds trust before the reader sees the product, and then sends them to the product page.

Three pages left to right, a cold ad, a pre-sell page highlighted in the middle, and a product page, above a track showing the visitor warming from cold to ready to buy
A presell page sits between the ad and the product page, warming a cold visitor before any offer appears.

You can build that page in Unbounce. Reviewers say the grid is quick once you learn it. But the templates start from a classic landing page, so you write the article, design the layout and set up the mobile version yourself. If you want to see what these pages look like on real brands, our /examples swipe file has teardowns, and our guide on how to write a pre-sell page covers the structure.

There is also the visitor limit. Every Unbounce plan has a monthly visitor limit, and a brand scaling ad spend can outgrow it, so check how far your current traffic sits from the cap on the plan you would buy. Our Unbounce alternatives comparison looks at this for cold-traffic pages.

Should you pick Unbounce or Landra?

Unbounce is a better fit for lead-gen pages and teams that test inside their builder. Landra is our pick for DTC brands that send paid social traffic to advertorials, listicles and presell pages. Here is where each one wins.

The verdict

Unbounce or Landra: which should you pick?

Pick Unbounce if
  • You build lead-gen pages with forms, like demo requests, downloads, pledges or petitions
  • You want A/B tests inside the page builder, and can budget for Experiment ($149/mo, $112 billed annually)
  • You want AI traffic routing that sends each visitor to the variant most likely to convert (Optimize, $249/mo)
  • You run pages for many clients and need 1,000+ integrations, custom code and several users
Pick Landra if Our pick
  • You sell a DTC product and send Meta or TikTok traffic to an advertorial, listicle or presell page before the product page
  • You want the page written and built for you from your brand URL, not dragged together from a blank template
  • You want to publish to Shopify, a Landra URL, or export the HTML
  • You want a lower entry price: 14-day trial, plans from $19/mo

Landra does one job end to end for DTC brands: it reads your brand, writes the advertorial, listicle or presell page, builds it with the sections a cold visitor needs, and publishes it. It does not run A/B tests, route traffic, or build popups and lead-gen forms. If those are your job, Unbounce is the better tool.

Advertorials and listicles read like articles, not like a classic landing page with a headline, benefits and a form. You can build that look in Unbounce, but you build it yourself. That is the gap Landra is made for. If you want the longer comparison, our Unbounce alternatives guide maps every Unbounce feature to the tool that replaces it.

How to test Unbounce in the free trial

Use the 14-day trial to check the exact things reviewers flagged. That is a better test than any score.

  1. Build the real page you plan to run, not a demo. Then check it on a phone. This answers the mobile layout question for your page.
  2. Send a few test leads and compare the dashboard count with what lands in your CRM or export.
  3. Write down your visitor limit for the plan you would buy, and ask Unbounce what one month over it would cost.
  4. Check the cancellation terms before you enter a card: when billing stops and what happens to your pages.
  5. Price the feature you need, not the entry plan. If you want A/B testing, compare tools against Experiment, not Starter.

How we did this review

I read the Trustpilot, Capterra and Unbounce pricing pages in full on 22 Oct 2026. G2 did not load, so it is left out. Quotes are copied exactly, with the reviewer's name and date as shown, and labeled when the site marked them as invited or incentivized. Trustpilot links go to the individual review. Capterra did not show links to single reviews, so its quotes link to the Capterra reviews page.

These quotes are a selection to show both sides, not a random sample. I did not count which complaint is most common, and I did not test Unbounce hands-on for this page. Prices and scores change, so check the live pages before you decide.

Frequently asked questions

Is Unbounce any good?

For lead-gen landing pages, many reviewers say yes. On 22 Oct 2026 Capterra showed 4.5/5 from 257 reviews, with praise for templates, integrations and split testing. Trustpilot showed 1.9/5 from 180 reviews, but only 3 of those were from the last 12 months, so most of it describes older versions of the product.

Why is the Unbounce Trustpilot score so low?

Trustpilot showed 1.9/5 from 180 reviews on 22 Oct 2026, and the page itself notes Unbounce has not invited customers to review recently, so the reviews may not be representative. Complaints there include billing after cancelling and slow support replies. Those are individual reports, not verified current problems.

How much does Unbounce cost in 2026?

As of 22 Oct 2026: Starter $29/mo ($22 billed annually) with 5 pages and 500 visitors, Build $99 ($74), Experiment $149 ($112), Optimize $249 ($187). Unbounce lists a 14-day trial with no credit card.

Does the Unbounce Starter plan include A/B testing?

No. Unlimited A/B testing is listed on Experiment ($149/mo, or $112/mo billed annually). AI traffic routing is on Optimize ($249/mo, or $187/mo billed annually). Checked 22 Oct 2026.

Is Unbounce good for DTC advertorials and presell pages?

It can host them, and its testing works on any page. Its templates are built around conventional landing pages, so you build the article layout yourself. Landra builds advertorial, listicle and presell pages for DTC brands from your brand URL. 14-day trial, plans from $19/mo.
